About Aria

Aria chooses to walk an inward devotional path often called the Priestess Path or the Beauty Way. She chooses it because it makes her deeply happy.

Background: Everybody has a story. I was 29 years old when a health crisis propelled me into deep hermitude. For about 3 years, I disconnected from friends, media, opinions, books, TV, courses and spent my time sobbing, and learning to listen within. It was bitter and lonely as I had to un-learn and re-establish my relationship to my body, mind, soul, my values, choices, the Earth, God/ the Universe, and how I was living my life. I consider myself a forever-student of Astrology, Herbalism, Alchemical Sciences and Energy Medicines from different lineages. I am largely self-taught, though when I emerged back into the world, I had some incredible teachers.Though my homes are many, ancestrally Indian, raised in Arabia, residing upon Turtle Island; I have struggled with feeling un-belonged. The consistent teachings I receive from the Plant and Animal realms are some of the most practical and profound.I work in Health Technology (over 12 years at Toronto General Hospital) and currently as a Writer at health tech company. I am incredibly blessed to enjoy my job.I'm a lover of (some) animes, comics and 90s sci-fi. I'm nerdy about systems and frameworks, understanding archetypes, myths, and narratives of our world, as the wild human heart in all of us emerges."I think the most incredible thing about Healing Arts is that we learn to heal ourselves, and hold discerning space for others to find their own way. My work is not to reduce your life circumstance or problem into a framework that I have learned so I can solve it.
My job is to craft a space of safety and resonance where your Essence can shine forth. It may be breath, a planetary transit, a blend of roots and berries, talking, moving the body, or pulse-point massage that gets you down and in to your body—where Truth lives.
From here, we explore ways, insights and practices that let you connect sustainably and reliably with your inner wisdom and agency. Together we celebrate You—the Divine bits and the Human bits, the messy and the magical."
